Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account, FindoFilm processes your email address and authentication information through Supabase. You may also provide a display name, bio and profile picture. We store the preferences and content you choose to create, including streaming services, country, watchlists, ratings, reviews, friend connections, notifications and Flicker sessions.

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, timestamps and diagnostic logs when you use the service.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, provide recommendations, sync your account, operate social and watchlist features, keep the service secure, diagnose faults and improve FindoFilm. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising.

Service providers

FindoFilm uses Supabase for accounts, database and storage, and Vercel for application hosting. Catalogue requests use Streaming Availability API. Title pages may embed YouTube trailers and request TV episode information from TVmaze; those services may receive the normal technical information sent by your browser when their content is loaded. Their own privacy terms apply to their services.

Public information

Your display name, username, bio, profile picture, public reviews, accepted friends and any watchlists you deliberately make public can be visible to other people. Your email address is not shown on your public profile.

Signed-in users can report public profiles and reviews and block other users. Reports are used for safety review and may be retained as needed to investigate abuse and enforce our Terms and Community Rules.

Storage, security and retention

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and protected using account authentication and database access controls. We keep account data while your account is active and for only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, prevent abuse or resolve disputes. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and deletion

You can edit profile information and watchlist visibility in Settings. You can permanently delete your account from Settings, or request deletion without the app using our account deletion page. Deleting an account removes the associated profile and user-created app data, subject to limited retention where required for security or legal reasons.

Children and changes

FindoFilm is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change and will publish the revised date on this page.
